therapy with Lenz

Hi! I'm Lenzie,
I'm a licensed therapist, artist, creative spirit, story collector, & animal lover...
What's your story? I'd love to hear it. I've always valued the importance of stories. Whether they be in music, art, books or in the lives of my clients. Different settings, chapters, characters and themes shape how we see ourselves and how we see the world.
I value the unique quality in all of my clients stories - which means I cater my sessions to match each client's needs. Therapy shouldn't fit into a clear cut box, and neither should you.
My approach is rooted in compassion, creativity and curiosity. Gentle during the hardest parts of your story, and direct if you need a push into the next chapter. As a psychotherapist taught through a family therapy lens, I bring your relationships into the room while making it clear your the author of your past, present and future. I genuinely care about my clients, their world, and all the mess in-between.

THE SPACE...
800 East Studios
Inman Park, Atlanta
My office sits just off the BeltLine in Inman Park tucked inside a family & friends owned recording studio that's been part of Atlanta's creative community to 1998. It’s a place where musicians, artists, and creatives have been making things for decades, and I’m grateful to add another kind of meaningful work to those walls.
Sunlight pours through the windows in my lofted space, there are too many plants, and the room is full of books, art, little curiosities, and fidget toys! When I’m not with clients, you’ll often find me sketching or painting. This office doubles as my art studio - art and music has been part of how I make sense of the world, and while you certainly don’t have to be an artist to work with me, I think there’s something special about being surrounded by a space where people come to create.
Protecting your confidentiality is incredibly important to me. The recording rooms are professionally soundproofed to prevent sound from carrying between spaces, and I coordinate my in-person appointments with the studio’s schedule so sessions take place during quieter hours. Most days, the only reminder that you’re in a creative building is the occasional soft piano melody or string instrument drifting through a distant hallway. In-person availability is intentionally limited to times that provide the calm, private environment my clients deserve, but with a hybrid practice I see clients at all hours. I value flexibility in my schedule to fit my clients' needs

WHERE TOO MUCH
IS ALWAYS WELCOME
and feeling not enough fades away
For the women care deeply, love fiercely, and wonder why they don't get the same in return.
Many of my clients are the ones others rely on — thoughtful, empathetic women who carry emotional weight quietly and give so much of themselves to relationships, family, work,
and the people they love.
They’ve learned to shrink parts of themselves just to feel accepted.
Things are different here
This is a space where sensitivity is not a flaw to fix.
Where your emotions are not “dramatic.”
Where your creativity, depth, intuition, and vulnerability are welcomed fully.
Located inside a creative studio space, my practice was built for women seeking something more honest, relational, and human — a place to unravel painful patterns, heal relationship wounds, reconnect with themselves, and stop carrying everything alone.
You do not have to become less emotional, less caring, or less yourself.
You are welcome here exactly as you are.
